The exhibition’s title, Impossible Conversations, was inspired by theImpossible Interviews published by Vanity Fair during the 30s and illustrated by Mexican caricaturist Miguel Covarrubias. Here, sentences taken from Shocking Life, Schiaparelli’s autobiography, will be juxtaposed to the interviews Miuccia granted to Koda andBolton and will be shown in a series of videos realized by film director Baz Luhrmann.

Top lots will include Helmut Newton’s famous Self Portrait with Wife and Models from 1980, which has an estimated sale price of £70k to £90k
